I'm a wife to my high school sweetheart Connor. We fell in love in 2011, got engaged in 2015, married in 2017, bought our home in 2020 and welcomed our beautiful daughter Mira into the world in 2022. This is the short and sweet version, so much has happened in my life in between and I'd love to share it with you! Scroll down to get to know a little bit about me!

Hello and nice to virtually meet you, I'm Krystal!

My photography journey started in my early teens. Growing up in Newcastle, I was inspired by our beautiful coastal landscape and would love to take photos of it on my phone, especially at sunset. My first camera was a Nikon AW100, a waterproof camera, and just perfect for capturing landscapes as well as the little details of nature, like the colourful petals of a flower.

I started sharing my photos online and soon enough, people were asking about family, maternity and couple's photos. I upgraded my camera to the Nikon D3400 and there was no stopping me!

Why photography? This is why!

At this stage, Connor and I were living in Townsville and I gained plenty of experience capturing couples, families, maternity and even an adult cake smash! Living in this tropical environment, I also had the opportunity to explore Townsville and it's surrounding areas and capture a whole new world of landscapes, including waterfalls!

After two years in Townsville, we moved back home to Newcastle where I continued my photography journey. I was excited to expand my skills, explore new challenges and see where photography could really take me!

To this day, photography has led me to so many amazing opportunities! I have been invited by travel and tourism businesses to capture content of their experiences on offer, I have been invited by Nikon Australia to capture a State Of Origin game on the sidelines, I'm proud to be recognised as an international, national and local finalist in an industry I absolutely love and of course, I have met so many amazing people along the way who have given me the chance to capture special moments for them that they can keep forever and cherish always!

Photography isn't just a job for me; it's my passion. I pour my heart and soul into every shot, striving to tell your unique chapter through my lens. From the candid moments to the grand gestures, I'm there to capture it all. I've since upgraded my camera to the Nikon Z5 and capture all of life's chapters. Engagements, weddings, couples, maternity, cake smashes, events, families and newborn; you name it, let's create it!
